I’m Nick, many call me nvo.

I’m a writer, operator, and investor who has focused on sustainability, climate, and energy for the better part of the past decade.

In particular, I focus on high-leverage, yet underserved areas, such as climate ‘interventions,’ i.e., strategies to avert climate risks that sit outside conventional mitigation and adaptation efforts.

Outside work, I read and write fiction and poetry, take photos, and take roadtrips in my 1991 Mazda B2200.
